About Wellseen

Wellseen is a premed, MCAT and medical school application program built on one behavior and cognition framework: how to execute consistently on what matters, under pressure. Students work with resident physician coaches and follow daily custom metrics, so every year of the premed path builds on the last.

Where the Wellseen framework comes from.

The Wellseen framework brings together the mental models of the physicians and researchers Gorang trained under at UCSF, Harvard Medical School/MGH and UC Riverside; research in behavioral decision-making and performance under stress; and years running clinical research operations and applied clinical informatics work. Gorang’s own path is where it was tested first. Today, Wellseen’s resident physician coaches use it to guide every student through the premed, MCAT and application programs.

What a Wellseen student can expect from the framework

  • Great grades, without endless study days
  • Extracurriculars that build your application and your life
  • Research that goes somewhere
  • Clinical experience that counts
  • Leadership and service
  • Mentors and strong letters

Below, every one of Gorang’s results is sorted into these six. Hover or tap a point to see them.

Application strength from high school to gap years Both paths start at the same point in high school. The common path rises slowly and evenly. The path with a system dips into a C in sophomore chemistry, then compounds: it pulls ahead in junior year and keeps accelerating through the gap years. Illustrative, not a measured score. Illustrative, not a measured score. The common path is a composite of patterns we see, not a real student. The other path is Gorang Gupta’s own record. In 2025 he founded Wellseen to teach the same framework to every student.
